1. 병원에 갈 때 자주 쓰는 대화: 배가 아플 때
Doctor: Please come in. What seems to be the trouble?
의생: 들어오세요. 어디가 아프세요?
Patient: It's my stomach. I think probably I had too much at supper yesterday evening.
환자: 배가 좀 아파요. 어제 밤 너무 많이 먹은 것 같아요.
Doctor: Can you tell me what you had for supper yesterday evening?
의생: 어제 밤 뭐 드셨는지 좀 알려주실래요?
Patient: Seafood, roast duck. Oh, a great variety of things, I can't name them exactly.
환자: 해산물, 오리구이 등등 너무 많이 먹었어요. 이름을 모르는 것도 있고요.
Doctor: Have you vomited?
의생: 그럼 토한 적 있었어요?
Patient: Yes, I have vomited three times and made several trips to the bathroom last night.
환자: 네. 어제 밤 세 번이나 토했어요. 화장실도 몇 번이나 갔는지 몰라요.
Doctor: I see. Now you have to get your stools tested. I'll write out a slip and you can take it to the laboratory. Wait for a while and pick up the report, and then bring it back to me.
의생: 알겠어요. 대변검사 좀 해봐야겠네요. 제가 전표 하나 드릴 텐데 이것 가지고 실험실에 가서 검사를 받은 다음에 검사보고사를 저에게 주세요.
Patient: Alright, doctor. I'll see you later.
환자: 그래요. 그럼 의생님 이따 봐요.
Doctor: See you later.
의생: 네. 이따 봐요.
Patient: Here's my report, Doctor.
환자: 의생님, 이건 저의 검사보고서예요.
Doctor: Take your seat, and let me have a look. It's nothing serious, only indigestion due to too much oily food. I will prescribe you some medicine for it to make you feel better. I do advise you to avoid oily food for the next few days.
의생: 앉으세요. 제가 좀 볼게요. 큰 무제가 없는데 느끼한 음식 너무 많이 드셔서 소화가 잘 안 되네요. 제가 약을 좀 처방할 테니까 이 걸 드시면 나아질 거예요. 다음 몇일 동안 최대한 담백한 걸 드셔야 돼요.
Patient: I will follow your advice. Thanks a lot.
환자: 네. 의생님 말대로 할 게요. 너무 감사합니다.
Doctor: You are welcome.
